Otehei Bay Island Activities

Enjoy the white sand beaches for safe swimming. With calm waters sheltered from the open ocean it's the perfect spot for families to enjoy a splash in the sea.

Hire a kayak or paddleboard for some on the water activity of your own. Paddle around and explore this beautiful bay by water.

For those more enthusiastic walkers Urupukapuka offers some of the best self guided walks available in the Bay of Islands, with tracks ranging in duration from 1-5 hours and with varying degrees of difficulty. Guided walks are also available as part of our Maori Living Today experience.

After all this action refuel at our fully licensed cafe offering a range of food and beverage, a cold drink to end the day.
