Photo Competition

Entry and Eligibility

• To enter individuals must upload a photo from their experience from an Explore cruising or sailing product in Auckland to either Facebook or Instagram. Entrants must tag Explore via Instagram (@explorekl) or Facebook (@exploregroup) and include the competition hashtag #exploremoreauckland to be in the draw.
• The competition commences on Friday 1st December 2023 and concludes at 11:59pm (NZST) on Sunday 31st December 2023. The winner will be announced and notified via Facebook or Instagram on Friday 12th January 2024.
• This competition is open to New Zealand residents who are over the age of 18 years only.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. 
• Incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

Prize Details

• There is one prize available for entries across the Explore Auckland Facebook and Instagram pages.
• The prize is a $500 gift voucher which can be used towards a future booking with Explore Group in Auckland, Bay or Islands or Hamilton Island, valid for 12 months.
• The total prize value is NZ$500.
• No additional transport, flights or accommodation are included.
• The prize is non refundable, non transferable, or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash or foreign exchange.

Additional terms

• Photo talent: By participating in this competition, entrants must have obtained permission from all individuals captured in the photos for the use of his/her image in connection with this competition. 
• Original Photo: Photos must have been taken by the entrant and be an original work. Photographs must not violate the rights of anyone else, must not have been published previously and must be suitable for viewing by all ages.
• Use of photo entries: By submitting a photo, entrants agree to allow Explore Group to use images to promote Explore products on an ongoing basis at no cost.
• The competition is open to all photographers - both amateur and professional.
• Staff members of Explore Group are not eligible to enter this competition.
• The prize is subject to Explore's standard Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
• The promoter of this competition is Explore Group.
• The decisions of Explore Group on all matters relating to this competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Explore Group reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner’s right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. Explore Group reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions and in its absolute discretion cancel the competition at any time and without prior notice.
• The promoter reserves the right to untag Explore Group from any non-relevant images or posts during the competition.
• The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking part in, the winning of or use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
