LIVE MUSIC

Sweeetpants is one of New Zealand's most loved vibe-setters - a DJ whose decades of radio, dancefloor magic and signature smile have foundtracked festivals, beach bars and good time gatherings across the country.

From Auckland to Queenstown and beyond, he’s played alongside international heavyweights like Crazy P, Roger Sanchez, Claptone, John Morales, Darude, Frankie Wah & Dr Packer, and lit up iconic events including Synthony, Splore and Shipwrecked. His sound has travelled as far as Bali’s Rock Bar, Fiji’s BlueSky Festivals, Burning Man and Melbourne - always bringing warmth, groove and that unmistakable Sweetpants spark.

He will be joined by perennial local favourites - Club Soda comprising of Otehei Bay regulars CeeKay & Tangerine Candyfloss, the dynamic DJ duo you’ll want to be front-row for at Sips & Sounds. CeeKay — originally from London and now firmly planted in New Zealand’s Bay of Islands brings years of club residencies and multi-genre sets spanning house, garage, funk and more. Meanwhile, Tangerine Candyfloss is Paihia’s own “First Lady of Funky House,” weaving irresistible vocal classics with modern twists to keep everyone singing along under the sun. Together they deliver warm island-vibe beats, deep groove selections and infectious energy, perfect for a beachside afternoon in the Bay of Islands.
