Come and enjoy a fun day out with the kids and the last of the long summer days on Urupukapuka Island. Otehei Bay is a family friendly spot in a safe sheltered bay with a long sandy beach and generous shade under the trees. 

Our fully licensed beachfront café and bar will be open for lunch with cold drinks, coffee and ice cream to keep everyone fueled up for the afternoon.

Hosted activities are FREE and run from 12:30pm until 4:00pm led by the energetic team from Clubtastic Bay of Islands, including:

• 3 Legged Race
• Egg & Spoon race
• Arts & Crafts
• Sandcastle Competition
• Tug of War
• Giant Jenga and so much more!

As well as the scheduled kids activities, you can explore the island on foot via one of the many coastal walking tracks, or from the water on either a Kayak or Paddleboard available for hire at Otehei Bay.

Clubtastic Bay of Islands will be leading the action at our Easter Fun Day, bringing their energy, experience and passion for kids’ activities to the beach.

Known locally for running engaging kids’ clubs and activity programmes across the Bay of Islands, their team specialises in keeping tamariki active, social and off screens. With experienced facilitators hosting everything from beach games to creative challenges, families can relax knowing the afternoon is in great hands.

Expect high energy, lots of laughs, and plenty of friendly competition as Clubtastic helps turn Otehei Bay into the ultimate island playground.
